Criminal: The Series

(No Spoilers, because I want you guys to watch and enjoy it)

I recently came across Criminal on Netflix. Its been produced in various languages, by various countries (this being relevant because the seasons are quite literally named Criminal: UK, Criminal: Germany, Criminal: France, and so on). The show is captivating to say the least.

Theres 3-4 episodes per season, all of which can be watched separately. Moreover, each country's season is unrelated to the other's, only the concept remains the same. The entire show takes place inside an interrogation room, and we get to see the interpersonal dynamics of the police officers as well. So every episode has two layers of stories, one being that of the individual being interrogated, which does not carry on from the previous episode, but the other is that of the interrogators, which does refer to previous episodes, even if only slightly.

I would recommend everyone watch this show, it is the perfect mix of thriller and mystery without any extra commitment to the show, its an easy watch but nonetheless very interesting. Moreover, it is one of the few shows I've watched where it is impossible to predict the twists and turns of the story, and where they will end up. If anyone is interested in watching, I'd recommend you start with Criminal UK, and then watch Germany. I've yet to watch France, but I've heard Germany had by far the most unpredictable plot twists.

If you've watched it, do let me know what you think!
