Gotham is an American action crime drama television series developed by Bruno Heller produced by Warner Bros. The series premiered on Fox on September 22, 2014, and concluded on April 25, 2019. The show moves around two main characters-Ben McKenzie as Jim Gordon and David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne. This show is the predecessor of the Batman series.
Story:
The story begins when Martha and Thoms Wayne were murdered in an alley by their powerful enemies. Bruce Wayne saw this and was able to do nothing. Bruce was left with his butler, Alfred Pennyworth. Jim Gordon came at the crime scene as a detective of GCPD promising to find his parent's murderer. The whole department of POlice was corrupted and involved in illegal activities except Jim Gordon. The city was run by underworld Don Falcone and Fish Mooney. Jim was ordered to kill an umbrella guy, Oswald Cobblepot, for Falcone but he didn't do it. This guy will then become the king of the Underworld. Bruce Wayne took the initiative to find the murderer on his own. The search leads him to the illegal activities of his company, Wayne Enterprises. He tried to remove the illegalities but all in vain. Indian Hill project made terrible creatures which terrified the whole city. It made dead people alive again. He also met a girl named Selina Kyle. She was homeless and lived on the street. She knew all about the city and had great survival tactics. He came across a bunch of people who run the city in the veil. They were referred to as the Court of Owls. Bruce and Jim Gordon are seemed to fight against the crimes of the city and want to do right. Bruce Wayne was supported by his butler and Jim Gordon was supported by his friend Harvey Bullock. During this journey, Jim Gordon faced a-lot of criminals. He faced problems in his personal life and in his department. Jim confronted all the problems brazenly.
Strong Women Character:
We can see strong women characters in this show.
1-Selina kyle who goes by the name of Cat can be seen to make her own living. She was considered the eyes and ears of all the Gotham. She was a great fighter and had amazing survival techniques. She became a helping hand for the underworld.
2-Barbara Keen who was first a psychopath became the powerful name of Underworld. She even ran the underworld for quite a time.
3-Tabitha Galavan who was the sister of Theo Galavan helped Barbara in becoming queen of Gotham. Tabitha was a forceful, strong, and clever girl.
4-The court of Owl was also run by a woman named Katherine,
5-Fish Mooney was one of the most fearful women of Gotham's underworld who did rule Gotham for some time.
The depiction of women in this show is quite amazing, They have given very important roles.

This show is one of my favorite shows. This show won four awards. It stands for justice and righteousness. It tells how you should stand up for what is right and what is wrong, It depicts how one man can bring the change if wanted, If you are into action, adventure, or detective movies, then go and watch this film. If you are a batman lover, this is the show made for you.
